INTRO

Jewels was the first introduced sub-asset to Properties in Earth2, 2nd July 2021. First 7 Prime COLORS (Being Spawned) at TIER1 then 5 CRAFTED COLORS at a higher TIER2 followed by the release of 1 new Prime type at TIER1 and 28 more CRAFTED Jewels at TIER3. A total of 41 COLORS. Jewels give specific boosts to Properties when slot:ed into a property. Boost such as: More E-ther, More Resources and special boost (Diminished Research Time & Diminished Construction Time).

It is an asset not yet fully rolled out or clarified in terms of useability within the Metaverse.

There are still many unknowns about the utility of Jewels and much more is expected to come.

Slotting into properties

Jewels can be slotted to Properties after a Mentar has been built on the property. What Jewels best to slot into different properties are not yet fully understood :See section Essence (Mentar & E-ther):. However, currently there are no risk into slotting Jewels into a property as they can be returned to the inventory “un-slotted” if decided and a new Jewel can be Re-slotted. (Draging one jewel out from the slot and a new one into the slot)

Moreover, if a Property is sold the Jewels will then return to the seller, become “Un-slotted”.

E2economist sidenote: Since Jewels increase various resource productions and it is believed that various countries can be abundant in various resources many have decided to slot Jewels by common sense corresponding to the countries abundance of resources in reality. E.g. Abu Dhabi is said to be abundant in Oil in the real world. Thus many investors slot the Black Jewel into the Abu Dhabi Properties.

E-ther Boost:

ALL Jewels give a 4% E-ther Detection Boost.
All Crafted Jewels at both TIER2 and TIER3 gives an additional E-ther Boost.

For 3 TIER2 Crafted Jamaican, Sunrise and Sunset it is 2% E-ther boost
For all the 28 TIER3 Crafted Jewels at it is 3% E-ther boost

the VALUE OF jewelS

Jewels are currently being traded on the EARTH2 platform in THE BAZAAR for E2 dollars (1:1 USD). Thus an “open market” already exists; however, closed in the EARTH2 platform. Main factors determining the price of the jewels are the various attributes (mentioned below), utilities (mentioned below) creating a demand and speculation.

An accurate fair Value of Jewels are very difficult to currently determine since it has not yet been clarified of their full and true function.

To note: Jewels have various fixed lowest FEE costs when sold. A low of 3 cents (Green T1 Spawned). This FEE will prevent Jewels to be sold at a price lower than the fee. It would not make any economical sense for Sellers to sell at 0 Profit after fees. Thus a market price floor is set for Jewels.

JEWELS could be preparing for the blockchian and be traded on the open market in the future.

E2Economist´s Sidenote: It is unknown why the LOCATION, DATE and TIME when the jewel was “spawned” is noted on each Jewel. Currently there is no known "game" features connected to these attributes and might merely be identifying fields used behind the scenes. 

This could be a signal that ALL jewels are unique and thus prepared to be an NFT Digital Asset.

41 Colors & 6 Qualities & 3 Tiers & 2 TYPES

Jewel Attributes are: COLOR, TYPE (Prime or Crafted), TIER (1-3) and QUALITY.
Other Jewels may very well be introduced later.

(2) TYPES:
Jewels can either be SPAWNED from a property called “BASE” or “PRIME” Jewel or by combining PRIMES in carious combination create “CRAFTED” Jewels

(8 + 33) COLORS:
The 8 Spawn/Base/Prime Color are:
BLACK (OIL) | YELLOW (GOLD) | ANTRACITE (COAL) | GREEN (WOOD) |
GREY (LIMESTONE) | SANDY (SAND) | OCHRE (IRON) | BLUE (WATER)

The other 33 colors can be achieved by crafting / combining the base colors in various Tiers.

(6) QUALITIES:
CRACKED | CLOUDY | COMMON | CLEAR | LUMINOUS | BRILLIANT
Brilliant quality is achieved at random when upgrading to Luminous

(3) TIER:
Jewels can be divided into TIER1, TIER2 and TIER3. Not all Jewels can reach TIER3.
Jewels: Jamaican, Sunrise and Sunset that are crafted at TIER2 level cannot reach TIER3.

How to generate more Jewels

Jewels Yield performance is related to the number of tiles on a property. The performance ranges from 1 tile averaging a jewel every 69 Days to the 750s which will average 2 jewel / day.

Both TIER1 and TIER2 Land/Tiles/Properties will yield Jewels, though at very different rates.

TIER 1 Jewel Yield

Data analysis collected over 40 000 Jewel Yields on +450 000 T1 Tiles & +200 000 T2 Tiles over 3 months (Feb-Apr)

However, 750s can yield more than one Jewel per day. There is a tile range where 1, 2 or 3 Jewels can be produced per property.

TIER2 Jewel Yield

Data analysis collected over 40 000 Jewel Yields on +450 000 T1 Tiles & +200 000 T2 Tiles over 3 months (Feb-Apr)

Tier 2 Tiles seem to require 10x more days to generate jewels versus T1 Tiles. However, depending on the price of buying T1 vs T2 tiles it may still be an interesting Return on Investment to yield jewels from T2 tiles.

the probability to acquire a certain color

It was early discovered that the 7 BASE Jewels have equal chance to by generated.
The same is true then the 8th, Anthracite, was added to the PRIMES.
Hence, this is occuring at total equal randomness with the average of a 13% chance.

Jewels Spawn time

The spawn time generally occurs during the same 2 hours.
There is no factor impacting by claiming jewels early or late during the day.

2:00 AM and 4:AM GMT (UK, LONDON).
Which translates to
6 PM – 11 PM US (Total Time Range – East to West)
SOUTH KOREA: 11 AM – 1 PM
AUSTRALIA: 10 AM – 3 PM (Total Time Range – East to West)

Is the Yield: Stable or Volatile per Day?

Why are we experiencing a fluctuation in Jewels per day? And how much is this volatility ?
Since we now have the model of Jewel Yield we can simulate 2 extreme cases BOTH yielding 10 Jewels in Average/day and show their volatility.

Case 1 being 230 Single tiles In 95% of the times (days) the average of 10 will be +/- 6 Jewels (4-16 Jewels)

Case 2 Being 10x 750 Tiles In 95% of the times (days) the average of 10 will be +/- 5 Jewels (5-15 Jewels)

Thus portfolios with larger properties will have less volatility.

Is Jewel Yield decreasing over time?

Could happen! But there is no mechanism for it. A property cannot be depleted of Jewels and thus is an INFINITE Asset.

EARTH2 is known to change yielding mechanics from time to time as they developed their metaverse futher.

Achieving Brilliant Jewels

The way to achieve a Brilliant Jewel is by upgrading Jewels to luminous and with a certain chance / probability the jewel will instead achieve a Brilliant status.

This is a particular difficult probability to identify. We will be continuing running accounts on the test site to log upgrades per jewel as much as possible. However, thanks to several large investors we have recieved intel about their experience when upgrading luminous and achieving brilliant. The investors have all spent over 100 000 ESSENCE each upgrading over 4000 Jewels.

We can estimate that the probability average seems to be between 0.5% and 0.1% chance to achieve a Brilliant Jewel!

After collecting info from various sources it can be confirmed that the probability for all types and tiers of jewels is:
